This 11-week project involved the full transformation of a former car sales building and adjoining garage into a modern, fully compliant commercial space. Covering 118 sqm and valued at £298,122, the scope included significant structural reinforcement, thermal upgrades to meet stringent Building Control requirements, a full internal fit-out, and comprehensive groundworks—resulting in a high-quality facility tailored for operational performance.

One of the major structural challenges was the garage roof, which had been tentatively supported by brick piers. To ensure long-term stability, we undertook targeted structural works to safely shore up and reinforce the roof.
The building’s existing fabric posed thermal inefficiencies, with non-insulated, thin walls and a bare tin roof. To meet Building Control standards, we drylined the walls using high-performance insulated British Gypsum panels to achieve a 0.26 U-value. For the roof, we installed insulated suspended ceiling panels and 300mm poly bag insulation, achieving a 0.14 U-value and creating a comfortable, energy-efficient environment.
As part of our multi-site rollout for Enterprise, maintaining consistency in design, quality, and functionality is paramount. The Chingford site underwent a full interior transformation, showcasing our ability to deliver premium fit-outs that align with Enterprise’s global brand standards.
The interior space was completely overhauled to provide a professional, functional, and compliant environment. Our standard fit-out works were delivered to a high standard, ensuring a modern aesthetic and practical layout.
The groundworks involved several critical infrastructure improvements to support the site’s new functionality. A reinforced concrete slab was constructed for the new Car Wash Bay, complete with integrated foul drainage. Additional trenching was carried out to install both foul and new surface water drainage systems. The entire site was levelled and finished with a durable Tarmacadam surface. Security and trac control measures included the installation of drop bollards and precise line marking throughout. To meet local planning requirements, particularly due to the site's residential surroundings, a metal-clad Car Wash Bay was also constructed, fully insulated to reduce operational noise and ensure compliance

From concept to completion, we ensured every aspect of the project down to the smallest detail was carefully executed to maintain brand consistency across design elements, colour palettes, and overall presentation.
Situated in a residential area, this project required a sensitive approach to external works, particularly the Car Wash Bay. To address noise concerns and meet planning conditions, we constructed a fully insulated, metal-clad Car Wash Bay that significantly reduces operational noise.
All works were completed with a focus on minimising disruption and maintaining harmony with the surrounding community.
